"What's New in the Block Room"

The following are samples of types and species of blocks. We can also do bowl sets from one tree or cant. We have both kiln dried and green wood (green blocks are waxed and shipped in plastic). You can purchase blocks from the types listed below by the pound or size. We will be creating new block specials pages as soon as our new block storage area is compleated. In the mean time if you are looking for something special please e-mail your request and I can send Pictures of what we have in stock. Rare Ancient Maple (Acer macrophyllum) This wood was retrieved from a construction site, dug up from about 45 feet deep and is at least 500 years old. The unique color was caused by mineral stain from the volcanic ash of the Electron mudflow below Mt. Rainier.
